1. How often are the analytics refreshed on the app?

Data is refreshed every time you open the app or switch from one Instagram account to another.

You can also manually refresh the data by opening the left menu and clicking on the refresh button at the bottom

2. How can I schedule a media on Instagram, Facebook, Twitter or LinkedIn?

Post scheduling can be done from our app or from our website. Here's how:

1. Create your post

1.1 On the app:

- Select "Scheduler" in the main menu
- Click on the blue "+” button
- Pick a media from your phone’s photo library, from Iconosquare’s Media Library or snap a pic with your phone camera
- Type your caption, select the date and time of your post, then click on Schedule

To have your post automatically post to the social media*, make sure the ‘Post automatically to Instagram/Facebook/Twitter/LinkedIn’ bar is slid to the right (Instagram: only available for photos in 1:1, 4:5, 4:3 or 1.91:1 format)

1.2 On the website:

- Select "Scheduler" in the main menu
- Click on ‘New Post’ in the top right
- Choose the format of your publication
- Upload or drag and drop the file(s) you wish to schedule, or choose from the Media Library
- Type your caption, select the date and time of your post, then click on Schedule

To have your post automatically posted to the social media, make sure the ‘Post automatically to Instagram/Facebook/Twitter/LinkedIn’ box is ticked (*Instagram: only available for photos in 1:1, 4:5, 4:3 or 1.91:1 format)

Once scheduled, you’ll be able to see your post in the calendar. You can edit or delete any post prior to posting time by clicking on it.

2. Publish your post without auto-posting

You’ll receive a push notification at the time you scheduled your post

Preview your post and click ‘Post on Instagram/Facebook/Twitter’, then ‘Copy’ to copy the caption. You’ll be redirected to the social media.

Ensure you’re logged into the right social media account! (For post with multiple media, you’ll now need to select the media you would like to use from the gallery on your device)

Paste your caption and click Post!

3. Which media will post automatically on Instagram, without me receiving a notification?

Single Images/videos, Carousels and Reels, with the following specifications:           

- Maximum file size: 8MB (images) or 100MB (videos) or 1GB (reels)                 
- Format : JPEG, PNG, BMP, and non-animated GIFs (images) or MP4, MOV (videos)         
- Ratio should be between 4:5 and 1.91:1 (images), 4:5 and 16:9 (videos)                  
- Min width: 320px (images)                 
- Max width: 1440px (images) or 1920px (videos)                   
- Framerate: 23 to 60 frames per second                   
- Duration: 3s to 60s (videos) or 3s to 15min (reels)                   

Stories are not currently available through automatic posting for Instagram.                 

Auto-posts are indicated by little lightning bolt icons on your calendar. Make sure you have ticked the box/moved the slider to blue to indicate you’d like your media to be auto-posted!

4. How to convert your Instagram account to an Instagram Business Profile?

To convert your Instagram account into an Instagram Business Profile, you'll need to do the following:     

1.) Create a Facebook Business Page. Don’t have one? It’s free! You can follow Facebook’s instructions to set one up on Facebook Business's website. (If you want to finish setting up your page later, you can unpublish your page for now by clicking 'Settings' / 'General' / 'Page visibility' and selecting 'Page unpublished'. You'll still be a Business Profile with an unpublished page.)     

2.) Switch your account to a Business Profile in the Settings of your Instagram app (Settings / Account / Change type of account.):           

3.) Link it to the relevant Page by selecting it from the list of Pages you manage!           

Once your Instagram account converted to a Business account, you'll just have to verify it on Iconosquare’s desktop site. Open Settings > Social profiles on Iconosquare and then click the “Verify this Business profile”  link(s).
