Innovating sustainably
We streamline data storage and optimize platform efficiency to reduce unnecessary energy consumption and cloud infrastructure demands. By refining processes such as data retention and query frequencies on social media analytics, we ensure that our innovation aligns with sustainability, without affecting our (loved) users.
Alongside Wedia, we are working on implementing a commune eco-design methodology based on the French General Ecodesign Standard for Digital Services, with the aim of decreasing the consumption of computing resources.
We regularly assess our carbon footprint through third-party audits to ensure accountability and continuous improvement. Wedia Group is proud to have received the 2023 Ecovadis Sustainability Rating in Bronze, which recognizes our ongoing commitment to reducing our environmental footprint through our activities.
We encourage eco-friendly commuting, waste reduction, and energy-saving practices across offices. We prioritize local purchases when it’s possible. From recycling programs to promoting train travel over short-haul flights, we integrate sustainability into every aspect of our work and promote eco-responsible behaviors.
Empowering communities
We bridge education and employment through internships, work-study programs, and partnerships, helping young professionals thrive in the tech industry. In 2024, Iconosquare and Wedia trained 10 young graduates.
We provide discounted licenses to associations, non-profit organizations and non-governmental bodies, and free tools to educational institutions, democratizing access to innovation.
We support causes that foster social inclusion, from prisoner reintegration to medical research, offering employee-led volunteering opportunities. In the near future, we will also be offering our employees the chance to devote some of their time to humanitarian causes or to helping people in difficulty.
