A good example of this is the collaboration between TikTok star Charli D’Amelio and Dunkin’ Donuts. 

Dunkin sponsored Charli who has over 145 million followers on TikTok. The brand launched a campaign using the hashtag #CharliXDunkingContest. They even released a new beverage called “The Charli”.

During the long-term sponsorship, not only did Charli create posts with her posing with Dunkin products, she also created her own content for the campaign.

With Charli promoting the new beverage, there was a 57% increase in Dunkin app downloads on launch day. The Charli also caused a 20% increase in Dunkin’s Cold Brew orders on day one of the campaign. 

The collaboration was so successful that Dunkin relaunched the campaign In February 2021. A new campaign hashtag #CharliDunkinRemix was created. This new campaign was promoted throughout Charli’s birthday week and generated over 240 million views.

With the success of the campaign, it's no wonder that Dunkin is the #1 food brand on TikTok.

And in just one day, the post promoting the bag on Liu’s page had over 30,000 likes.
